Help us bring a modern multi-discipline shooting range to the Show Low area.

The White Mountain Shooters Association (WMSA) is actively working with the U.S. Forest Service and the Arizona Game and Fish department to construct a public shooting range to be located approximately 5 miles east of Show Low just off Hwy. 60.

The initial phase of the range will have a 100 yard bay, a 50 yard general shooting bay and 4 – 40 to 50 yard pistol ranges. Future phases will include additional shooting bays up to and including a 1000 yard rifle bay. Shotgun shooting positions and an archery field course are being considered.

Construction on the new range will begin as soon as the required permits and funding is obtained.  

Why should you join WMSA?

The level of cooperation of the Arizona Game and Fish commission will be directly influenced by the number of individuals that become members of WMSA. Like any other bureaucracy Game and Fish looks at the interest expressed in the project. The more members WMSA has, the more attention we will get from Game and Fish. The range development department of Game and Fish will be presenting the project to the Game and Fish Commission in August of 2009. WE NEED MEMBERS TO INSURE THAT THE WMSA RANGE WILL HAVE GAME AND FISH TOP PRIORITY.

What’s in it for you?

1.    A sense of participation in a project that has been welcomed by Navajo County, the City of Show Low, the Town of Pinetop/Lakeside, the Show Low Unified School District, various area shooting organizations and more.
